Calling all Jackaroos and Jillaroos
The Sunshine Coast Register invites you to join us on a “Meander up the Mountain ” on Wednesday 7 November 2018. Our Chairman Lindsay has promised to saddle up his horses (or at least horse power) and meet us all at:
Glass House Mountains Information Centre, cnr Steve Irwin Way & Bruce Parade at 10:00 am for smoko.
Bring your thermos and run leaders Ken and Helen Parmenter will rustle up some tucker to share.
After smoko we will mosey along quiet rural roads through Peachester & Woodford to Mt Mee for lunch at “birches restaurant”.
Please get into the swing of this country event in your blue jeans and checked shirts, with perhaps a neck-erchief & your best boots. The most authentic Aussie country style is sure to be rewarded. A themed quiz with prize is also promised (or threatened??).
