SA Jag Day 2025
Dear members,
SA Jag Day 2025 planning is now in full swing.
Thank you, members, for collecting and distributing flyers and arranging collection of goods for Cats & Cans.
I have been asked to advise all members Ingle Farm Salvation Army will be receiving all non-perishable goods but will also accept cash donations. JDCSA’s support of this charity is of great importance to the wellbeing of those less fortunate. Please consider supporting Cats & Cans with either goods and/or cash. Thank you.
As mentioned at the AGM, we have a new food vendor this year - Seawave Bistro and they have kindly supplied a menu. Please see attached. We are also welcoming the Somerton Park Rotary Club to provide their sausage sizzle. We hope there is plenty on offer for your enjoyment.
Another extra this year is a dedicated area for members of the public to take photographs in or around, three different models. Thank you to Julian Lugg for providing his XK120; Alan Bartram for providing his white Series II E-Type and to John Bergbauer for providing his burgundy Mk II. Thank you for being so generous with your cars.
Wait, there’s more! Along with a display of 50th anniversary XJS and XJC models, Classic Jags will bring 10 white Jaguars for display. Thank you, Classic Jags and we look forward to enjoying this display.
To assist with the finest display of XJS and XJC models, it will be helpful if members who are considering displaying these models to notify Peter Thomas, details below, to enable priority parking arrangements. Thank you.
It is also important to note that members of JDCSA with a different classic car on Club Registration, are welcome to bring their car/cars along. A designated area has been provided for display.
And, if you have friends or know of anyone with Jags who are not members of the JDCSA, please let them know they are also welcome to display their cars.
As mentioned at the AGM, it must be emphasised SA Jag Day is for members to show their cars at their finest. However, the day is also for the public. It is an important and timely encouragement for members of the public to talk with owners and become enthused about Jaguars.
To this end, I encourage all members to become involved in promoting SA Jag Day 2025. Please use the flyer attached and distribute to family, friends or simply your email list, letter box drop and talk about SA Jag Day to anyone and everyone. Thank you, your help is greatly appreciated
Success is a large turnout of people to witness and explore Jaguar Drivers Club of SA.
Best regards,
Suzanne
