Hi Folks,
As advised on page 23 of the latest JDCQ magazine the next Noosa Beach Classic Car Show is being held at Lion’s Park, Noosa Heads on 30th September – next Sunday!
This show, of approximately 250 classic cars of all makes, is one of the foremost classic car shows in South East Queensland.
With Lion’s Park being adjacent to famous Hastings Street and a stone’s throw from Noosa Beach it is an ideal location to enjoy the car show and take in the best that Noosa has to offer.
This year the show is celebrating all British marques and what stronger marque is there than Jaguar. We therefore would like a strong Jaguar (JDCQ) presence.
Please visit the Noosa Beach Classic Car Club web site index.php/events/noosa-beach-classic-car-show for more information. The Noosa Club is strongly recommending those intending to attend register on-line, at the above website, to avoid any delays in entering the park and to ensure that there are sufficient spots allocated for our cars. So please get on-line at the above web-site, scroll down to on line forms and register using the Classic Car Show Entry Form. Whether registering or not, if you are attending please advise me via return email. There are already more Jaguars attending than the number of spaces I agreed with the organisers so I need to advise them of the likely number of JDCQ attendees before the end of the week to ensure space is allowed for all of our cars.
Once parked and tent setup is complete, we will head to the Noosa Surf Club for our traditional delicious breakfast, overlooking fabulous Noosa Beach. You are welcome to join us if you wish.
We will be travelling to the car show in convoy from the Noosa Homemakers Centre, corner of Thomas and Mary Streets, Noosaville.
If joining the convoy please be at this assembly point by 7.30am for a 7.45am SHARP departure. It is a short 5 minute drive to Lion’s Park and we aim to be there prior to 8.00am to avoid any entry difficulties. (a warning, entries, therefore available spaces, are filling fast and The Noosa Car Club is considering only admitting pre-registered vehicles arriving after 8am)
We look forward to enjoying a great day at Noosa with you, see you there.
