CAMS Qld Motor Sport EXPO. 25 clubs with fantastic displays from all types of Motor Sport.
CAMS will host its own free Motor Sport Expo to help launch the state's racing calendar for 2018.
The launch, to be held at the Performance Driving Centre, Norwell on 25 February, will give motor sport enthusiasts a chance to link up with a local club and find out more about the year ahead.
The event will open at 9am and finish at 3pm.
There will be more than 20 Queensland affiliated clubs on display, while fire and rescue teams will also be in attendance, highlighting critical emergency procedures, including how a car is cut open in emergency situations.
Meanwhile, CAMS will host an introductory module for anyone looking to sign up as an official.
Competition vehicles converted for hand-control driving and an all-terrain wheelchair for people with limited mobility - presented by Keith Fackrell from KCF Rallysport will also be available for those at the expo to check out.
CAMS CEO Eugene Arocca said the expo was a great way for the car clubs of Queensland to start their year.
"This expo will give our affiliated car clubs the opportunity to promote themselves to potential new members and showcase their upcoming events," Arocca said.
"Also, it's a great opportunity for CAMS to be able to show the public what we do, not only for competitors, but for officials too.
"We all know the important role officials play in motor sport, so we are always encouraging more to get involved and can offer anyone who is interested the chance to sign up to become an official on the day of the expo."
A sausage sizzle, ice cream and coffee will be available throughout the day.
