Toowoomba register's next run will
be to Queen Mary Falls 14/2/2009. We will be meeting at Chalk drive
car park Toowoomba @ 8:30 for 9:00am departure (have a short morning
tea during this time if you wish as it is quite a drive to the
destination). We will be arriving at the falls
main car park at approx 10:45am. Brisbane members if interested may
wish to drive direct to the falls which is located near Killarney. BYO everything - Food, drinks, chairs. (There is a small cafe at the caravan park.) We will be having a picnic lunch in the National Park grounds and then a short meeting to discuss the year ahead after lunch. Some energetic people will probably go for a walk to the falls. If you're feeling real energetic you can go on a longer walk to the base of the falls. Some people are going early to camp overnight on the Saturday night. If you would like to do this you can get in contact with the Queen Mary Falls caravan park (46647151) or ring Barry or Ron Formella as they know all the details.
