Interested in contacting the International S-Type Register

The following is the text of an e-mail received 7 December 2009

The International ‘S’-type Register is a non-affiliated Registry of 1963 -

1968 Jaguar 3.4 & 3.8 litre 'S'-type Saloons. Our objective is to record

details of every 'S'-type Jaguar produced and to promote the preservation

and restoration but mostly the enjoyment of Jaguars 'Best Sports Saloon'.

Since starting the Register over ten years ago we have recorded details of

more than 450 cars in fifteen countries.

The Register also has a dedicated e-mail address: S_types@yahoo.com
  

1) There is no cost to register your 'S'-type. To complete registration of

your ‘S’-type, please provide:

Chassis number

Engine number

Body number

Gearbox number

Original colors (exterior/interior)

Wheels (wire/disk)

Factory options

Build date, First owner, etc.

a photo and a brief note on how/why you found your beloved ‘S’-type, how you

use it, or what you have done with it or to it.

 

2) The current subscription price of The Newsletter of the International

Jaguar ‘S’-type Register is US $30.00 for one full volume, 12- issues, by

email in Adobe Acrobat (.pdf format).

Back copies of Newsletters are available on CD: Volume 1, Number 1 through

Vol. 5, No. 6, 52 issues, 323+ pages, 341+ ’S’-type-specific articles. All

in Adobe Acrobat, most in full colour. The CD is complete with index and

Acrobat Reader. US$ 50.00 (or equivalent) including postage worldwide.

The International Jaguar ‘S’-type Register also has an extensive reference

library of nearly 1000 pieces of ‘S’-type information, articles, road tests,

parts catalogues and sales literature, which are available to Register

members either in full colour hard copy or full colour .pdf format

electronically.

2004 Mk1 & 2 Register (Now Classic Monocoque) Weekend Away

Members of the Mk1 & 2 Register together with other  members of the JDCQ enjoyed another pleasant weekend tour through Toowoomba and the Brisbane Valley.

MK 2 Targa Tasmania car is a 1963 3.4 litre with full CAMS setup including roll cage racing harness, battery kill switch etc. Brent Haynes won a Targa Tasmania Gold in 2003 with this car.
