I have owned this car for 8 years and I restored it

5 years ago.The restoration was a full body off

restoration with 2 pack white paint and cappuccino

leather upholstery. All mechanicals done with unleaded seats

and valves.Gearbox is Celica 5 speed and the car is air conditioned.

It is very reliable and fast and is only for sale because I have

completed my MK4 drophead.

LOST XK 140

 

I am searching for a particular XK140 OTS MC which I sold through Shannons during 1998/9 immediately following a bare chassis restoration, photo attached. At that time I had a health problem (the big C) and we decided to leave Perth for a sea/tree change on the south coast of WA. I was told at the time that the car went to Queensland.

Four Curly Hub spoke wheels off a S1 E Type, two with tyres. Wheels are in good order but would need painting to bring up to scratch as chrome has deteriorated. $450 set.

Complete series 2 Jaguar has reco 4.2 engine and gearbox. Receipt for $1700 spent on gear box rebuild. Nice chrome and velour interior. Good royal blue paint but requires some rust work and other work to finish. In my opinion would be a very nice Series 2 Jag when finished. 

 

Also have 3.8 engine for rebuild and would listen to offers on a set of triple SUs or sell complete with engine.
